Sneak peak.....

I'm so excited about the project I'm currently working on.... I'll give you a sneak peak....

Since I took the "process pledge" I figured I'd show you what I'm up to.  I started with the pillow (below) from my Inspiration post a while ago.

Then I went and bought way too many a few fat quarters.  I just can't resist them!  They're so cute and already cut up.  Anyway, I got out the good old graph paper.  I don't know how you all do it, but I can't draft up anything without my graph paper!  Based on the picture, I drew out my flowers and decided about how big everything would be.  I love this type of drafting because it doesn't have to be too exact.

I'm not a huge fan of solids, so I used the same background fabric that I bought for the Modern BOM.  I have four flowers seemingly ready.  (Although knowing me, I'm sure I'll switch tons around.) I was just playing with fabric and colors so I haven't officially cut anything out yet, except for a few leaves.   I have a REALLY exciting idea for the edging.... can't reveal it yet!  The picture is a little wonky... I only had my iPhone with me.

This is a pillow for my niece's new 'big girl' room and bed.  She's turning 3!  I won't be able to show you the actual pillow until after her birthday in case my sister sees it here.....
More soon!

Don't forget about my giveaway!  Two days left!
